The 125's sheer versatility – as shown by the artists listed above – can even take in the completely unexpected throw on a set of flatwounds and this thinline is more than happy to get all jazzy. In the hands of such artists as Sheryl Crow, Tracy Chapman, Thom Yorke and the legendary George 'Bad To The Bone' Thorogood, the ES-125 has great sustain, rarely feeds back and is light enough for you to power through your whole gig, without needing to change guitars. And it's still in really fantastic condition! Vintage-aged Kluson tuners aside, the guitar is all original, including its original Gibson hard shell case, (see pic # 8 and right). This mega-cool Cherry Sunburst ES-125 TDC, ( Thinline, Dual pickups, Cutaway), was built at the original Gibson factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan, right about the time the Beatles were beginning to hit the bigtime. When some of music's all time biggest names regularly strap on a particular guitar, you can bet it's a guitar that, a) covers a lot of ground, and, b) it's a model that you probably need for yourself.
